Quality - Certifications


QUALITY MANAGEMENT
METCON applies a management system according to the requirements of the standard EN ISO 9001:2015. The scope of the system concerns the design, production, and installation of Industrial Metal Constructions, Industrial Buildings, and Crane Bridges. The system is certified by NOVA CERTIFICATION.
PRODUCTION CONTROL
All products manufactured by METCON and fall under the Construction Products Regulation (305/2011/EC) bear the CE marking. The CE marking allows the product to be legally placed on the market in the member states of the European Union. In order for these products to bear the CE marking, production control has been carried out by the notified body NOVA CERTIFICATION, in accordance with the requirements of standard EN 1090-1:2009+A1:2011. The certification applies to the design, production, and anti-corrosion protection of steel elements up to and including the EXC 3 class according to standard EN 1090-2:2018+A1:2011. The EXC4 class is the highest and most demanding.
QUALITY MANAGEMENT OF WELDING
Welding is considered a specialized process where its quality cannot be easily controlled and its application requires specialized personnel, procedures, and management. These requirements cannot be covered by general quality standards such as EN ISO 9001. METCON is a certified producer of construction welders with a scope of application in Metal Buildings, Metal Constructions for Power Plants, Pipelines, Multi-storey Buildings, Industrial Buildings, and Crane Bridges according to the requirements of EN 1090-2:2018. Certification is provided by the certification body NOVA CERTIFICATION.
